One of the most important changes made to the Red Lion in 2010 was the menu — Previously it was a gastropub menu with gastro food which Diane didn't think was right for the red lion pub. It now offers traditional home-cooked British pub food. Fresh produce with a focus on simple classic dishes, Like real ale pie and chips. With about 20 covers in the pub restaurant and 16 extra covers on the top room along with 10 spaces along the bar there is plenty of room for eating out at the red lion. In a beautiful village between Bedford and Northampton the red lion pub is a good place to head for whilst out and about.
